Programma:
Philippe Nuss, MD, PhD is psychiatrist in charge of the first episode and dual diagnosis unit of the Department of adult psychiatry at the Saint-Antoine University Hospital in Paris. His clinical work is mainly dedicated to the treatment of at-risk mental states and first psychiatric episodes. He is also strongly involved in initial and post graduate teaching in particular clinical pharmacology at the ECNP Summer School, Oxford, UK and various Universities all-over the wordl. He is also strongly involved in patient and family psycho education. His basic research activity is dedicated to membrane lipid signalling using lipidomics methods. His research is also dedicated to gut microbiota in mental disorders He has published numerous articles in high standard peer-review Journals. He is an active member of several international scientific societies (International Early Psychosis Association, Schizophrenia International Research Society, International Society for Bipolar Disorders, and French Society for Biological Psychiatry). He is an invited speaker for international conferences all over the world. Dr Nuss is an expert at the French Agency for Drug Market Authorization and at the National Institute for Health Education (INPES).
Dit seminarie is onderdeel van een reeks wetenschappelijke seminaries, wekelijks op woensdag van 12.30 - 13.30 uur, met telkens een andere binnen- of buitenlandse gastspreker. De seminaries worden georganiseerd door academisch coördinator prof. dr. Koen Demyttenaere.
